"Show and Tell"

When I was younger I loved "show and tell “when I was in elementary I couldn’t wait for Friday to come so I could bring my object to class. I would always get excited and bring the newest thing I could to show it off actually it really didn’t have much meaning to me.

Now I’m suppose to blog about it instead of showing it, it’s a little harder but now I can truly talk about it and make people see it through my perspective.

I have a necklace that my family bought and gave to me when I was 12 years old. I was going through a really hard time; actually we were going through some things as a family. I was sick in the hospital for two weeks it was really rough my family bought me a necklace locket in a heart shape with a little diamond in the middle. My family said that they wanted me to keep them close to my heart so they gave me that so I would, and they told me that we were going to get through that situation no matter what.

My family was really supportive and they held my hand through it all. I love that necklace, but I mostly love what it signifies the truth behind it that I have a family that loves me. That is my most valuable prize, the object I would bring every week and show off because it is the most meaningful thing to me.
